Introduction

Hello!

My name is Lacey Fiedler. I graduated last May with a degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading. I started my first year of teaching this August in 1st grade. Yikes! I got married in June and am looking forward to completing the Educational Technology Program here at UCM.

My husband, Jason, and I have a beautiful daughter named, Kinsey. Most of our time is spent together watching movies, playing Wii, or being active. My husband and I play in a slow pitch softball league every summer and enjoy watching Kinsey play soccer. Now that I think about it, we are pretty boring. We eat dinner every night together. Jason and I like to watch the cooking channel to get new ideas for dinner. That is about it.

I have to admit, I have NEVER blogged or read blogs or even been remotely involved with blogs. I think of myself as technologically savvy but have realized that I have a lot to learn. Now that the semester has begun and I have officially started my Master's program I am terrified! If you could see me you would see a deer in the headlights look!

Most recently I have boarded the Twilight train and have not stopped reading the series for several weeks now. I know the books are meant to mostly be for teenage girls but I have not been able to put these books down! I am currently reading the 3rd book in the series called Eclipse and still have Breaking Dawn to read.
